What Is It Like Working With Me?
A.I am so glad you asked!
First and foremost, I bring a positive attitude - always. Wedding days can be stressful, but having experience and a good attitude can make such a difference when timelines are tight or issues arise! I have six years of experience as a dedicated second photographer and I am always looking for ways to grow and improve.
I love having a wedding day timeline in advance so that I can review it, ask you any clarifying questions, and prepare myself for the day. Preparation and professionalism are absolutely crucial to me. I am representing your brand and I want to do that to the best of my abilities.
I show up early - ready to meet your couple and start documenting their day. I typically wear calf-length black dresses with a minimum of a cap sleeve. If a wedding calls for a specific dress code or a color palette besides black, please let me know in advance so that I can respectfully accommodate.
I photograph the entire day using a dual camera setup. I feel like this helps me to capture moments as creatively as possible and also gives two different perspectives of the wedding day.
I am very comfortable capturing the groom and groomsmen on my own, so that you can focus on the bride and bridesmaids. When we are capturing moments together, I will stay out of the way and capture some side shots and creative angles. You never have to worry about me standing next to you or getting the same shot you're already getting. I will help gather family for family formal photos and make sure we cross each group off the list so that we don't miss a single photo. I am always scanning the room for reactions, emotions, and moments that the couple may not necessarily see or be present for.
I understand the flow of a wedding day and can anticipate what needs to be captured next. I absolutely love open communication and honest feedback.

What Are My Rates?
A.My standard rate as a second photographer is $60/hour with a minimum requirement of 7 hours per wedding. If the coverage needed is less than 7 hours, my second photographer rate is $65/hour - with a minimum of $400 for the day.
My standard rate as an associate photographer is $110/hour.
I am available to travel up to 50 miles (each way) from my location.
Additional travel may be negotiated for a travel fee in alignment with the IRS Standard Mileage reimbursement fee for business use (72.5 cents per mile).
What Camera Gear Do I Use?
A.I use Canon mirrorless gear and Godox flashes. I shoot the entire wedding day on a dual camera setup.

Am I Insured?
A.Yes. I am registered as an LLC in the state of Ohio.
I am fully insured through PPA.
Any Questions For The Lead Photographer?
A.Do you provide a second shooter contract for us to both sign? If not, are you open to signing one that I provide?
Do you have any settings preferences that I should be aware of?
Are there any parts of the day that you would like me to capture alone?
Will you provide SD cards for me to use on the wedding day?
Is there a specific dress code you would like me to follow?
Will I be able to use the images I capture in my portfolio and/or social media if I credit your business? If yes, do you have any specific rules and regulations?
What is your typical payment method for second and/or associate photographers?
My portfolio will never take priority over yours.

My main objective as a second photographer is to make your day easier and make your couple feel like absolute royalty. You can count on me to always fluff a dress, straighten a tie, hide a necklace clasp, or even give you a little pep talk!
One thing that sets me apart from other second photographers is that I am always analyzing and reading the room. I know when to take a step back and let a moment unfold naturally, but I also know when to step in and provide direction so we can capture a polished shot. I think that the most beautiful and memorable moments on a wedding day come from genuine connections and emotions and I want the couple and the guests to experience that to the fullest.
